The people you never got to meet

I’ve accepted the fact that in this world not everyone has to like me. I’m ok with that. There are a handful of people I don't get along with. Everyone doesn’t have to like each other. But sometimes it is hard to understand that.

I think back to all the people I’m either friendly with, or mutuals, or not even friends. I think about all the awkward moments I had to go through and try to talk to them. And we just don’t know each other. There’s nothing wrong with that.

You don’t have to click with everyone you meet, and not every interaction you have can turn into a friendship.

There are some people I pass by in the halls and I recognized that we were never friends, and it's not because we dislike each other, it's because we never just clicked. So we go our separate ways and talk to other people and are not a part of each other's lives.

But then there is a category of people who hate you. And some of these people I find it hard to accept. From what I observed, and what I hear from other people, they seem like such nice people, very good friends.

And I can’t help but wonder, what did I do? Did I say something wrong? Did I offend them? If maybe you just got to know now then you would like me. I think some of these people I could be very good friends with.

And It's a sad thing, because I think about how many friendships could have started before they just decided we aren’t going to work. Before we have had any real conversation with them.

A lot of my friends I would have even known I would like before I got to know them and talk to them. I would have judged them, and they probably would have judged harder.

But before I judge anyone, I have to think in my head. Do I know them? Them as a whole. Not including what anyone has said to me, or what I assumed. And this connects back to my previous articles. Never judge someone, because they look totally different from the outside. It's hard seeing a potential friendship go to waste. But maybe it's for the best.

Being The Older Sister I Never Had

Since the day my younger brother was born I knew it was my job as an older sister to be his role model. Role model, someone you look up to, someone you're expected to be, someone that is the example f

It goes both ways

You know, I’ve always had small friendship struggles. If you’ve read my past articles, they probably don’t seem that small. But at the end of the day, everyone has their own issues. And I’ve realized
